We care about your satisfaction and want you to be thrilled with your purchase. If in the unlikely event that you do need to make a warranty claim please contact us as soon as possible so we can work to remedy the situation.


Damaged, Defective or Missing Products


In the event that you find your leather package or any part of your order including accessories to be defective, missing or damaged on arrival, please contact us immediately for replacement. Please report any damaged products immediately so we can work to resolve the problem for you.


Damage Resulting from Shipping


All shipments from The Canada Seat Skins Company will come fully ensured against loss or damage at no extra cost to you. It is the buyers responsibility however to inspect the parcel thoroughly prior to acceptance and note any damage with the delivery driver immediately.

If your parcel is damaged and you fail to report the damage in a timely manner than it becomes very difficult for us to process a claim with the shipping company. Even if you do not plan on installing your interior right away, please inspect it carefully.

If damage from shipping occurs and it is not reported in a reasonably timely manner, we can not guarantee reimbursement for the loss.


Returns on Stocking Parts


Stocking parts such as seat heating kits and fitted slip-over seat covers which are not special order items can be returned within 30 days of purchase with a valid RMA provided they are new and uninstalled and still in the original packaging.

It is important to note that all returns must be resaleable as new to qualify. We can not accept returns on items which have been used, previously installed, altered, damaged (wet, smell like smoke), or are missing components. If we can not sell the item as new we can not accept it back.

A 20% restocking fee will be applied to all returns to help cover the costs incurred filling the order and processing the return. These costs include outgoing freight charges, merchant processing fees, processing time, inspection time and repackaging. This policy works to keep prices low for all customers and helps reduce both waste and fraud.

To request an RMA simply contact us with your order number within 30 days. Once you have an RMA number you can ship the item back for a refund less the restocking fee. Detailed return shipping instructions will be provided.


Returns on Custom Leather Interiors


All leather interiors from The Canada Seat Skins Company unless otherwise marked are manufactured to order and as such are non refundable or refundable. Please contact us to confirm compatibility with the intended vehicle before purchasing your new leather interior. In the event you experience a problem with a component or your interior is missing components, replacements will be provided at no cost through our warranty program

In the event you receive the wrong interior at the fault of the manufacturer or an employee of The Canada Seat Skins Company, you will receive a correct replacement or a refund for the total once the item is returned complete and in saleable condition. No returns will be issued on interiors that have been modified or purchased incorrectly or purchased without the help of a sales representative where fit information was ignored.

Please review all your order details carefully. No refunds will be issued on custom leather interiors where a release correctly detailing the product to be supplied was submitted and approved. No refunds or returns can be authorized where the customer has provided incorrect vehicle information or ignored compatibility information including and not limited to pattern diagrams and fitment charts.

The color charts and product photos provided on this site by The Canada Seat Skins Company and by the product manufacturers directly are to be used as helpful design guidelines only. This is due to hue, brightness, contrast and saturation variances in both monitors used to view the photos and digital cameras used to make the photos. If an exact color match is required, please order a swatch sample book and confirm your color selection prior to submitting your order for manufacture. No refunds will be issued on interiors based on color provided vs color displayed on our site or a manufacturers web site.


Warranty Claims After Installation


If one of you products or accessories should show signs of failure or defect after installation, the manufacturers warranty will need to be addressed to cover any repair or replacement provided that the claim is made within the warranty period and falls within the products warranty guidelines. Please register your products with the provided warranty registration card.

Most often the warranty claim at this stage will have to be handled by the manufacturer directly. If you have any problems dealing with a warranty claim please contact us immediately for assistance.

Please note that damage created from improper installation techniques such as cuts, tears, broken zippers, holes cut incorrectly etc are not covered under any warranty.



Katzkin Leather Inc. Manufacturers Warranty


Katzkin leather Inc. Warrants its leather and vinyl interiors to be free from defects in workmanship and material when used under regular conditions for a period of three years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first. 

This warranty will not apply as a result of improper installation, alteration, unauthorized repair, abuse, or accident. The purchaser will have no entitlement to recuperate from Katzkin Leather Inc.,or any authorized Katzkin leather Inc. dealer, any consequential damages, losses, or expenses for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits or income or any other incidental damages arising directly or indirectly from a warranted claim involving this product. 

The exclusive obligations of this warranty shall be limited to the repair of any accepted defect in workmanship or materials or at the discretion of Katzkin Leather Inc., to replace it with a comparable product. 


This warranty does not apply to claims for abrasions, scuffs, scratches, cuts or abusive and excessive wear. Katzkin Leather Inc. will not be held responsible for color dye lot variations in connection with any authorized warranty claims. 

The application of silicone based products and or harsh chemicals can damage or destroy the surface and structure of your leather interior. Katzkin Leather inc. recommends the application of a mild detergent and water to remove any soil from the surface of your leather. The surface should then be wiped clean with a dampened soft cloth. use of silicone based products will void this warranty. 

Katzkin Leather Inc. reserves the right to alter, modify or discontinue products without any obligation in regards to products previously offered. 

To obtain warranty repair or replacement you must present the warranty claim to an authorized dealer. Any product to be sent to Katzkin Leather Inc. for repair or replacement must be pre authorized. 

All warranty claims are at the discretion of Katzkin Leather Inc. This warranty gives specific legal rights to the original consumer. other rights may vary state to state, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. 

In the event of any discrepancy between the warranty information presented herein and the officially distributed Katzkin Leather Inc. Product Warranty, the later will be deemed correct. The Canada Seat Skins Company is not responsible for any errors or revisions in the above mentioned warranty.
